The Tennessee Risk Management Trust (TNRMT) Trustees have approved 41 applications, issuing grants totaling over $244,000. We are excited to announce the latest grant recipients. This is our eighth year partnering with members to not only provide loss control recommendations but also the funds and tools needed to make safety improvements a reality. These grants positively impact workers’ compensation by reducing the frequency of incidents while more importantly keeping our teams safe.
- Highlighted Grant Approvals:
- Carts, Dollies, and a Tommy Lift: The more lifting is minimized the less likely we are to have back and shoulder injuries.
- Gas Detectors and Harnesses: It is vitally important we understand the hazards before entering a space and provide a lifesaving retrieval system.
- Stair Replacement: Entry and exit ways must be safe.
- Sawstop Table Saw: Purchased to ensure there is no way to lose an appendage on the saw blade.
- Turnout Gear: Providing essential protective gear for firefighters.
- Beneficiaries:
- These grants directly benefit the well-being of our members, their staff, and TNRMT.
